Join in our Spring Gathering, a small celebration of the season. We will reflect on our most recent festival ceremony and our progress since that time. Here is the agenda for our gathering:
- Greeting and centering
- Small ritual, honoring the wheel of the year
- Eisteddfod (tied to the season and/or discussion topic)
- Topic discussion (see below)
We will begin promptly at 2:00 PM, so to make sure all attendees arrive with ample time, feel free to come as early as 1:30 PM. Our discussion topics are as follows:
February 20: Feeling with more than the senses. Share an example of something (a story or an item) that relies on intuition, empathy, or instinct to help the physical senses understand perception. For example, a piece of music or art involves more than simply hearing or seeing it to understand it. How do these intimate and subtle senses impact your creativity?
March 6: The various acts of creating, along the path of creation. Sometimes, we seem to passively receive creative inspiration. At other times, we need to pursue it and nurture it along. During those adventures, we often have to actively create and foster creativity itself. In these times, the end result is surely enjoyable, but so to is the whole journey, even with its struggles. What habit or “trick” do you lean on to help push your own creativity?
April 3: Spirit friends and sentinels. We are often out of touch with our spirit allies and friends, which robs you of their companionship, but also robs them of yours. We will spend time today meditating and journeying into our Sacred Grove to spend time connecting with our spirit friends. What can you do to make this a more regular practice? What can you offer your spirit friend(s) in thanks for their companionship and support?
April 17: Our heart’s spirituality. What aspects of spirituality call to your heart? Why do you actively walk the path you do, and does it fill your heart and your spirit? If you could change one aspect of your spiritual path to better fulfill and follow your heart’s calling, what would it be?
